Review by hotel critic
Nestled in Anacapri, this charming spot hosts a breathtaking view that steals your breath but doesn't entirely empty your wallet. Costanzo, our remarkable host, was attentive to our needs, offering a complimentary shuttle service that eased the trek from Anacapri with our luggage. The room was clean and well-equipped, with air conditioning that was much appreciated after a day exploring the island. The seasonal outdoor pool provided a serene spot for relaxation, with sun loungers perfectly positioned to soak in the sun and enjoy cocktails - a perk that heightened the experience. The continental breakfast was satisfactory, serving great coffee to start the day right. While the steps leading up to the B&B could be a challenge, they were manageable with a bit of patience. In summary, while Monte Solaro may not be the cheapest option, the value offered through service and amenities is noteworthy.
